Victorian paint color has begun in America last 1800 until 1900. Both the interior and exterior of the houses large and extensive popular at the time featured a variety of exciting colors. Pastel colors dominated the outside of many houses in the Victorian era. Lavender, yellow, pink and light blue could be found on every block, and often paired together in twos and threes, giving the exterior appearance of a dollhouse. White houses were also present, though less common, and often featured dark woods.
The Victorian era was very different interior color exterior color.
Walls often featured prominently wood and plaster moldings, with simple white walls. Wallpapers intricate pattern in colors like gold and fire were also popular. Most Victorian homes had little or no carpets. Furniture and accessories in Victorian paint color houses varied, but tended to keep in line with the color of the interior walls.
